Intellectual Property Ownership

All components of the Gorean Core System (GCS) — including scripts, modules, system architecture, documentation, branding, and visual assets — are the intellectual property of the GCS creator(s). Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all rights are reserved.

License to Use

Users are granted a non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to use GCS within their own regions or roleplay environments. This license allows:

• personal use
• region‑level deployment
• creation of new modules that integrate with GCS
• modification of modules for private use

This license does not permit redistribution, resale, or publication of GCS scripts or modules.

Restrictions

You may not:

• redistribute GCS modules or scripts
• sell GCS components or derivatives
• claim authorship of GCS assets
• repackage GCS as your own system
• use GCS branding or logos without permission

Any unauthorized distribution or commercial use is prohibited.

Contributor Rights

Any contributions, suggestions, or submitted modules intended for inclusion in the GCS ecosystem are accepted under the same licensing terms unless a separate written agreement is made. Contributors retain authorship of their original work but grant GCS the right to integrate, modify, and distribute it as part of the system.

Brand & Trademark Protection

The GCS name, logo, and associated branding elements are protected. They may not be used in advertising, resale, or derivative systems without explicit permission.

System Behavior & Responsibility

GCS is a modular roleplay system. Its behavior depends on:

• region settings
• permissions
• user configuration
• local roleplay rules

Region owners and administrators are solely responsible for:

• enforcing rules
• managing access
• configuring modules
• moderating user behavior

GCS does not enforce or govern roleplay standards; it provides tools that regions may use at their discretion.

No External Data Collection

GCS does not collect or transmit personal information. All persistent data is stored locally within the region’s objects (modules, Metabank, or metadata cards).

GCS is provided “as‑is” without warranties. The creator(s) are not responsible for:

• data loss
• region instability
• user disputes
• configuration errors
• misuse of the system

Use of GCS constitutes acceptance of these legal terms.

Mature Content Notice

GCS is designed for Gorean roleplay environments, which may include themes intended for mature audiences depending on the region’s rules and settings.

Content Responsibility

GCS itself does not create, enforce, or promote adult content. Any mature themes that appear during gameplay are the result of region‑specific roleplay, not the GCS system.

Region owners are solely responsible for:

• enforcing age restrictions
• defining roleplay boundaries
• moderating user behavior
• complying with platform policies
• ensuring that all participants meet the required age for their region

System Neutrality

GCS modules provide mechanical functions such as crafting, gathering, skills, and environmental systems. These mechanics are content‑neutral and do not contain explicit material.

User Discretion

Players should review the rules and maturity rating of the region where GCS is used. Participation in roleplay is voluntary and subject to the region’s guidelines.

Platform Compliance

All regions using GCS must comply with the platform’s Terms of Service regarding:

• adult content
• age verification
• restricted areas
• prohibited activities

GCS does not override or replace platform‑level policies.
