GCS – Modular Roleplay Ecosystem

GCS Modules Overview

The Gorean Core System is built on a modular foundation. Each module is a self‑contained object with its own logic, menus, metadata, and persistent data. Modules can be used independently or combined to create a fully integrated roleplay ecosystem.

A System Designed for Expansion

Every module follows the same architectural standards:

  • clean internal scripting
  • standardized metadata cards
  • persistent storage through the Metabank
  • optional registration with the Core Engine
  • lore‑aligned mechanics and presentation

This ensures that all modules — whether built today or added in the future — remain compatible, stable, and easy to maintain.

Self‑Contained and SL‑Proof

GCS modules do not rely on linksets or fragile boot sequences. Each one operates independently, making them resilient to region restarts, object resets, and platform quirks. When the Core Engine is active, modules register automatically; when it is not, they continue to function on their own.

A Growing Ecosystem

The GCS suite will expand over time to include:

  • crafting systems
  • gathering and resource nodes
  • fishing and environmental tools
  • skills and progression
  • wreckage and salvage
  • quests and world events
  • combat and stat systems
  • currency and economy
  • admin and world‑builder utilities

Each module listed below includes its description, status, and version information.

Build the World You Imagine

Whether you are a region owner, builder, or developer, GCS modules give you the tools to create immersive, lore‑accurate Gorean environments with stability and consistency at their core.
